Stirk House Luxury Wedding Photography
I arrived at the beautiful Stirk House Hotel where I was greeted by the talented Dave who hosts all the weddings at Stirk House, with not a cloud in the sky it was looking to be a good day. The Bridal party was well underway with the girls getting their makeup & hair styled by the talented Rebecca Astley & The Facial Glow.
Bridal Prep
Once all the girls were dressed and ready the Vintage cars arrived, three stunning vintage wedding cars in white took the bridesmaids & Bride to the church which was a 20min drive away. St Paul’s Church in Clitheroe is a local church where Charlie & Will’s family attend. After the ceremony, we made our way back to Stirk House stopping off on the way at a friend’s stunning Manor House in Downham to capture some portraits with Pendle Hill as the backdrop.
The Speeches
The speeches were like no other none stop jokes and funny stories about Charlie & Will, there were two speeches from the best men who had the room in stitches with laughter. There was a surprise from two singing waiters who shocked everyone when they fell to the ground and then jumped up to start singing, the two guys had the room up on their chairs swinging napkins and dancing around the room doing the Konga creating a fun party atmosphere! We went outside for a few smoke bomb portraits before the evening guests arrived, after the cake cut and first dance we managed to sneak in a few evening portraits in the gardens it was raining but this did not stop us from getting some creative photos.
