Bashall Barn is a stunning barn wedding venue in the heart of the Ribble Valley, just outside Clitheroe. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it offers amazing views, over looking the Ribble valley with on-site accommodation, and plenty of space to make the day your own. Bashall Barn has it all, an exclusive venue for the whole day or a twilight evening wedding Bashall can do it all. The one thing I love about Bashall is the added surprise to your guests as you move around the venue that can be tailored to how ever you like.
I keep things simple. I’ll stay in the background and let your day flow. No awkward posing. No staging.
I know Bashall Barn well. I’ve photographed lots of weddings there and even worked with the team on their food and marketing photos. It means I know all the best spots and how the place works on a wedding day.
How will we receive our photos?
Your images will be delivered through an online secure gallery, enabling you to share them with friends and family without any watermarks. There is no limit to the number of high-resolution images you can download. Furthermore, the gallery offers the option to order prints directly from the platform.
Do I have to order prints through you?
I highly recommend ordering prints through a professional photography lab. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I’m happy to point you in the right direction if this is something you want.
Do you bring a second photographer?
Whether you choose to hire a second photographer is a personal decision. I frequently photograph weddings solo, and I am confident in my ability to capture the majority of typical wedding days on my own. However, there are certainly advantages to having two photographers.
How do I secure a date?
A £100 booking fee & signed contract is required in order to secure your wedding in the calendar. The remainder of your balance is due 1 month before your Wedding!
When can we expect our photos to be ready?
Photos are normally delivered within 3-4 weeks depending on the time of year! In summer it may take slightly longer but you won’t be waiting long! 10 preview photos are sent to you a few days after your Wedding Day!
There are some beautiful places to take couples for portraits at bashall Barn, Here of some of my favourite places I would consider for portraits.
Portrait 1:
A great location to get your portrait is just outside the venue on their vintage Grey Tractor using the venue as a stunning backdrop, especially when it’s in the evening, using the pontoon lighting
Portrait 2
As you step outside the venue onto Twitter Lane is beside the accommodation, this is a great spot to take a walk along the lane using the rolling hills as a backdrop.
Portrait 3
If you have a twilight wedding, the outside lighting is a great way to get creative using the pontoon lighting just outside the ceremony room.
Portrait 4
There is a perfect spot to the rear of Bashall Barn at the gravel path leading to the outdoor ceremony area between the trees you can get a WOW photo. The trees come alive with a glow of colours and if it’s raining makes it even more magical, using flash to light the couple up create some stunning images.
Portrait 5
Bashall Barn has a tunnel that’s just beside the accommodation. This is a quirky spot that I like to use. At the right time of the day, the couple can be backlit by the sun. not forgetting the balcony in the evening when the sun is setting over the hills this is one of my favourite images to capture.
Bashall Barn is located just outside of Clitheroe surrounded by the countryside. The venue offers a full day exclusivity to you and your guests as you move around the venue giving that extra surprise as each room is revealed throughout the day adding that wow factor.
Bashall Barn come with plenty to enjoy before the big day. If you enjoy walking, the surrounding countryside offers excellent routes. Put on your boots and explore the stunning scenery right on the doorstep. Or take a trip in to Clitheroe where you can find tasty restaurants and shops to explore
Bashall Barn is a fully licenced venue holding up to 130 guests. You have the option to have your ceremony in 3 locations. Bashall Brook room with panoramic views of the beautiful Ribble Valley. If the weather is not raining the bi-folding doors can be fully opened and you can have your ceremony on the terrace over looking the Ribble valley countryside or you can have your amazing ceremony down at the bottom of the venue in the woodland area that’s now a brand new addition to bashall barn the perfect romantic ceremony area.
