Bath Summer Wedding – Somerset Countryside Marquee

Where do I begin with Sophie & Simon’s Wedding a bath summer wedding?! The location was Week Farm in Combe Hey in Bath on the grounds of one of Simon’s Family member’s house which felt more like the South of France in this idyllic setting with the added extra of the sun shining all day! A stone’s throw away from the house was the ceremony marque and there was a separate marque all set and ready to go for the wedding breakfast, the simple decoration of the flowers draping from the roof in the centre and a few flowers hoops brought elegance.

Vintage Elegance in the Garden

Simon and his groomsmen were having a chilled morning down at the pub pacing themselves by starting the day with coffee. Meanwhile, the girls were busy back at the house getting ready settling their nerves with a bottle of bubbly.

Sunny Ceremony

After the Ceremony, the Reception was held outside with the canapes and drinks on the patio shortly after group photos took place in front of the property. The grounds were perfect for me to get creative in so many different ways with the couple for their portraits, with the beautiful stonewashed buildings and flowers complementing the photos. Everyone made their way to the marquee with all the guests sitting alongside one another for the speeches. The speeches started with Sophie’s Father telling some tales about how they met and Sophie also took to the mic to give Simon the best Wedding present his favourite drink strawberry milkshake!

Evening Party

Onto the evening and the marque was transferred into a dancefloor with the band getting the place rocking, all the guests were pulling some moves. I even managed to tear the couple away from the dancefloor to get a few evening portraits before I left! Overall the Wedding and the weather was just perfect for a Summer Wedding!
