Winter Falcon Manor Wedding
Lorna & Michael’s Winter Wedding took me over the border to Yorkshire to Falcon Manor. The day began in a Cottage in the market town of Settle, full of energy and lots of bodies as this definitely was bridal prep with a difference. The couple had agreed for their Day to be filmed by a TV crew for the upcoming show ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ based on Lorna’s dress choice. Lorna and the bridesmaids were getting involved in interviews, multi-tasking with the hair and makeup prep. Mid-morning I made my way to the Venue to snap some photos of the groomsmen together prior to the Ceremony and guests arriving whilst the girls got into their dresses upstairs in the Bridal Suite.
Cosey Wedding Ceremony
In the Ceremony Room, Bloom & Green Florist worked their magic with winter white roses and foliage, complete with a broken flower arch for the centrepiece. With the harpist playing Michael patiently waited for Lorna to make her way down. The guest of honour was the couple’s golden retriever who was more than happy to pose for a few snaps, I spent some time with Lorna & Michael in the grounds for portraits before the newlywed’s TV interview with the film crew! In the bar and entrance area the Magician- Zanda Magic kept the guests entertained and I loved wandering around the room capturing everyone’s reactions. I managed to sneak the couple away to capture some evening shots with the grand staircase as the backdrop and a couple of silhouette shots.
Falcon Manor First Dance
The Singer Georgia Nicole got the evening reception started followed by the first dance Lorna & Michael took to the dance floor hand in hand whilst all the guests gathered around to watch. After a short while, the DJ took to his decks, everyone took to the dancefloor to show off their dance moves what a way to finish the day. Something unique to this wedding was that they had planned an end-of-day photo with all the guests gathered outside Flacon Manor with sparklers. A lovely way to end such a stunning wedding.
It sure was an existing day working alongside both a videographer and TV film crew but we did it!
