Spread Eagle wedding
Well…officially my last Summer Wedding of the season was with Fiona and John at The Spread Eagle Sawley, a lovely little pub set in the Ribble Valley countryside. To say it was late September the weather was on their side with the sun beaming down all day perfect conditions to get awesome wedding photos. The Wedding was small and intimate with around 30 Family members in the Day with a real relaxed laid-back vibe the perfect spread eagle wedding.
Bridal Prep
Fiona and her two bridesmaids got ready at the venue and I’ve never known so much laughter from three people, which can be seen throughout their photos together. Fiona opted for a less traditional style Wedding Dress a midi length lace style with bright red shoes and the bridesmaids really complimented Fiona with navy blue dresses.
The Ceremony & speeches
The Venue was next to Sawley Abbey bringing some History into the Day which was such a good spot for family group photos, the big group shot included the Abbey in all its glory. For the portrait shots, I got creative with different angles of the Abbey and for the all-important golden hour, I made the most of the River Ribble in the background surrounded by the stunning Ribble Valley countryside. The speeches were full of laughs which I wouldn’t expect anything else as Fiona’s bubbly personality shone throughout the Day, the party started straight away after the food and everyone was up having a good old boogie!
I hope you enjoy looking through the images as much as I did photographing them.
