Rustic Holmes Mill Wedding Photography
Ok…where do I start with Natalie & Karl’s Rustic holmes mill wedding Day? The sun was shining the weather was pretty much perfect for a Spring Day in the Ribble Valley and I’d been looking forward to their Wedding since the Day they booked me! This is not the first time I’ve worked at this Former Textiles Mill Venue and I’m sure it won’t be the last if you do want to contact them use this link!
The Bride along with her Bridesmaids started the day in the spinning block hotel located next to the beer hall with one of the longest bars in Britain at 105ft 4” which is where I found the Groom & Groomsmen enjoying a few Pre-Ceremony beers to settle the nerves. Everyone started to arrive and made their way up to the Cotton Room on the second floor, the room was decorated with green foliage with bursts of bright yellow including the quirky idea of using lemons to line the aisle.
Before they knew it they were saying their vows and walking down the aisle together as Mr & Mrs, Everyone gathered outside for the all-important confetti moment, which I have to admit was up there with one of my favourites from over the years! I swiftly took the Bride & Groom away for 20 mins where we got some fun creative portraits in the Engine Room & explored a few hidden gems in the Mill. Once the laughs of the speeches were over it was the Evening celebrations, I captured a few evening portraits with the Bride & Groom among the twinkling of the fairy lights. The dance floor had a real buzz & the evening had just begun!
If you’re looking to book something a little different Holmes Mill will tick all your boxes with its industrial feel, and period character & not forgetting the huge selection of beers!
Congratulations to Natalie & Karl and Thank You for allowing me to capture your Summer Wedding at Holmes Mill
