Holmes Mill Industrial Wedding
Leanne and Dan’s June Wedding was my second Wedding of the year at Holmes Mill and the weather was just perfect once again! Leanne had given each of her Bridesmaids a silver bracelet with a blue stone adding to the ‘something blue tradition, they each wore a dusty pink dress with a smaller version of Leanne’s bouquet. I also managed to get some Groom prep shots with Dan and the lads getting ready in another engine room hidden well away from Leanne.
The Boiler House Holmes Mill
The Groom and his Groomsmen made quite an entrance as there were nine of them all rocking the shades as they made their way to greet the guests gathered outside the Boiler House having a pre-wedding drink. I took the opportunity to get some group shots in the Engine Room as their blue suits worked well with the rustic look. The flower colour of choice was elegant white by The Flowers Girls, Whalley and The Cotton Room was decorated with a simple wooden frame with a few white roses, going down the aisle were glass bottles with green foliage and white roses. I believe the Engine Room really does the talking and minimal decoration works brilliantly, as the industrial look is seen in all its glory.
Rustic Cotton and Chimney Room Holmes Mill
The ‘yes we did it’ feeling was really there with these two with them both punching the air after being announced as Husband and Wife. The drinks reception took place in the Engine Room and I took Leanne and Dan away for a few minutes to capture portraits in a quieter space. In the evening the band was rocking with it being heard from the ground floor getting everyone up of all ages and then the DJ taking the show well into the evening!
