The Bridal Prep

When you imagine your wedding day, you probably dream of blue skies and golden light — but sometimes Mother Nature has her own plans. That’s exactly what happened at a recent wedding I photographed with Sam and Amy. And honestly? It couldn’t have been more magical.

Bartle Hall is a venue that’s perfect for capturing breathtaking images, both outside and inside. With its grand manor house, beautiful grounds, and cosy indoor spaces, it offers endless opportunities for stunning wedding portraits.

Bartle Hall Wedding Photography: Groom prep

The Groom arrived around an hr and a half before the ceremony, getting ready in one of the many rooms. wearing his light grey/green tweed suit, complementing the wedding details.

Rainy Wedding Day Portraits at Bartle Hall, Preston

Rain can bring a beautiful softness to wedding photography portraits. The soft colours, the light is diffused plus, there’s something special about couples who embrace whatever the day throws at them, just like Sam & Amy did, grabbing a brolly and going for a walk around the grounds, allowing me to capture stunning images of them.
