Wyresdale Park is a place I genuinely feel at home. As a Lancashire wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working at Wyresdale Park many times over the years, and it’s a venue I know like the back of my hand. It’s always evolving too on this visit, I noticed new lodges and facilities had been added. Wyresdale Park continues to grow and impress, making it one of the top wedding venues in Lancashire. It really is a venue that ticks all the boxes for couples planning a relaxed and beautiful countryside wedding.
A Unique Wedding Morning – Wild Swimming at Wyresdale Park
I arrived early on the wedding morning because Dan and his groomsmen had planned something a little different, wild swimming in the lake to shake off the beers from the night before! It was a fun and refreshing way to start the day and made for some great candid shots. After the swim, I made my way to the North Wing, where Rachael and her bridesmaids were getting ready in a charming part of the main house. The soft natural light and beautiful interiors made it the perfect setting for those pre-ceremony moments.
Ceremony & Wedding Breakfast in the Barn
Rachael & Dan held their ceremony in the rustic Wyresdale Barn, which creates such a warm and atmospheric setting. Afterward, the drinks reception took place on the Lawn behind the main house an ideal space for guests to relax and enjoy the sunshine with a drink in hand. This area is also brilliant for family portraits, with the woodland and greenery offering a stunning natural backdrop.
